TRANSBORDER TRACKS

The main goal of this project was to create an engaging product concept along with corresponding packaging to bridge together Tijuana and San Diego for the World Design Capital in 2024. The design should aim to represent both cultures’ spirits along with celebrating both cities.

Music is the universal language. When I first moved to San Diego, the niche music scene initially had me hooked. San Diego is known for there local artists and fun live music events, so I wanted to find a way to incorporate that into this project.

That is where the concept of a multicultural vinyl record music exchange started.

Visit our website www.TransborderTracks.com, or pick up the product at local record stores near you.

Sign up with your email, information, and address. Feel free to include the different types of music you listen to and collect, and any other fun information (if you make music yourself or your story to how music became a big part of your life).

CHOSE YOUR RECORDS

In your Transborder Track package, you can fill it up with two of your favorite vinyl records, and send to the address provided. Once your music pen pal receives their brand new records, they will send two right back to your address!

Share music that resonates with you, your favorite albums, or some local gems!
